Acquisition of Minera Florida by Minera Meridian Limited

Minera Meridian Limited, acting through its outside legal counsels “Núñez, Muñoz & Cía, Abogados”, has acquired Minera Florida Limited in the amount of US$100,000,000 in which is considered to be the greatest acquisition of a mining company in the recent years. The transaction began with the signature of an option agreement in 2005 and with the exercise of the above mentioned option of this year.
